About the event
Make a Difference today! This program is designed to provide resources, guidance and support for those just starting their medical school journey and/or transitioning into clinicals. MS3 and MS4 student doctors will provide one-on-one mentoring to MS1 & MS2 student doctors. Both are expected to maintain professional and appropriate relationship. Will individually discuss & set goals for the academic semester.
- Certificates will be granted at the end of the academic semester.
Who may apply:
- Early career/physician-scientist Mentee: Current MS 1 & MS2
- Seniors & Upperclassmen Mentor: Current MS3 & MS4.
Requirements:
- Mentor/Mentee relationship: 1 academic semester. After this commitment ends, we encourage you to stay in touch with your mentor/mentee.
- Must be ASCO OSIG members.
- MS3/MS4: Submit your peer mentor application via e-mail with leadership skills (include time zone of current clarkship location) to be matched up with an MS1 or MS2
- MS1/MS2: Need guidance, help & support? Submit your mentee request via e-mail to be matched up with a peer-mentor, specify semester of current enrollment.
- Along w/Statement of Interest application, please submit a professional photo with ASCO ID # to osiguagsom@gmail.com
